The Directorate was established according to article of Higher Education and Scientific Research No. (40) of 1988 in order to gather information, coordinate the prepared plans by the universities, Technical Education Foundation and the Ministry’s Directorates and to set them in light of the general goals of the developing plan and to meet the needs of the community.
